a New Moon Night

a fin of a ruler
gleams like a metal
in a summer river
***
a new moon night
frightened by a sound
a fish broke water
***
in a moonless night
a breeze
swirling inside a coliseum
sings a requiem
for ancient gladiators

  1. Beautiful! I especially like "gleams like metal in a summer river." Nicely done!

  2. Thank you! Indeed, it's also my favorite.
It occurred to me when a BIG black carp came to the surface.
